Fernandes is looking over his shoulder

Edi Fernandes has been added to the list of players that look outward bound once the new boss Manuel Pellegrini gets down to making final decisions on his Hammers first team squad for the new season.

The young Swiss midfielder is one whom he may be ready to allow to leave as he starts as the manager makes his final assessment of first team squad members over the next few days after the first weeks of pre-season training.

Fernandes looks likely to join Jordan Hugill and  Sam Byram who have both been linked to loans or permanent moves away from the club if the right offers arrive.

But one player who has definitely caught the manager’s eye has been Josh Cullen who from all reports we are getting has done himself no harm at all with some feisty and snappy displays with his totally committed approach.

Nathan Holland too has been impressive and looks set to remain at the club in and around the first team squad.
