West Ham have been told they must pay more to land Swansea keeper Lukasz Fabianski. As reported by Wales Online the Hammers had their opening bid rejected last week as part of a double swoop which included defender Alfie Mawson.

33-year-old Fabianski played the second half of Poland’s 2-2 draw with Chile last Friday as he fights for his place in the World Cup.

Fabianski is said to want to leave Swansea following their relegation as he doesn’t fancy a season in the Championship but the Hammers opening bid of around £5m is considered too low and the Welsh club wants £7m for their keeper.

He is said to earn £50,000 per week at Swansea and wants his wages matched.Bournemouth is the current Bookies favourites at Evens to sign Fabianski with West Ham second favourites at a very good price of 4/1 with BetVictor.

The next week should let us whether Fabianski becomes a Hammer.
