The Hammers net spend excluding possible add-ons has hit £32.5m following the signing of record signing Sébastien Haller today.

The summer has already seen the departures of Edimilson Fernandes £6.75m Lucas Perez £2m Sam Byram £750,000 and Marko Arnautovic £22.5m totalling £32m of outbound sales although it should be stressed not all of that has been received up front.

Pablo Fornals is reported to have cost £24m in instalments while Sebastian Haller is said to have cost £40.5m over the first 18 months meaning a total outlay of £62.5m.

That leaves the current West Ham net spend just over the summer transfer budget with chances of more big-money signing unlikely unless further players are sold.

Jordan Hugill £4m, Pedro Obiang £8m and Javier Hernandez £10m are all possible candidates to raise more funds before the transfer window is over but loans, free agents and cheap transfers will also be considered as Manuel Pellegrini puts the final touches to his 2019/2020 Premier League squad.
