Speculation that Liverpool are keen to sign Aaron Cresswell this summer have been killed off by West Ham.

Rumours have been circulating for some time that the Reds see the scouser as a summer target but short of an “absolutely astronomical bid” there is zero interest inside Upton Park.

Cresswell only recently signed a new deal which sees him locked into a Hammers contract until 2020 with another two year option both ways at the end of that.

Kop manager Jurgen Klopp has been impressed with the left back in the matches between the two sides but the Hammers are totally disnitested in a bid.

An insider told ClaretandHugh: “We’ve read the stories but as both chaormn have said on several occasions, we are no longer a selling club.

“There is no chance of Aaron moving anywhere. it would have to be an absolutely astronomical bid for us to even look .”

Meanhile Cresswell himself is very happy at the club telling the London Evening Standard:

“It’s going to be fantastic next season – once it’s all kitted out, I can’t wait to see it,” he told the London Evening Standard.
