Hammers on highest of highs – watch out Spuds!

There’s hardly a better game to go and do it again than Sunday’s against Spurs.

No doubt there will be those over there who believe our exertions against Sevilla are good news for them.

Silly!

After a fine performance against Villa and the night of our lives against Sevilla the adrenalin and confidence should be as high as it’s been for as long as most can imagine or remember.

There is also an outside chance that Jarrod Bowen will return although it remains to be seen of course but that we are winning vitally important games without him or Vladi Coufal is stunning stuff.

Something truly great is going on at West Ham and although we are allowed to have reservations at certain levels the truth is David Moyes has probably become the manager Sir Alex Ferguson believed  he was when recommending him for the Manchester United job.

Moyes will know – and has insisted in the past – that we can’t continue as the old West Ham and suffer defeats when the club is on such a high. He regularly calls us the new West Ham

I can’t be bothered looking at the Spuds results and trying to draw any conclusions from them because I think in general terms, despite the points tally of both teams being the same, we are the better team and will go there on the highest of highs and beat them.
