West Ham are unlikely to get a transfer windfall from the hoped for sale of Jordan Hugill to Middlesbrough in the summer.

ClaretandHugh understands that Riverside boss Tony Pulis has cooled on the striker who joined the Championship side on a season-long loan last year.

The striker has managed just seven goals in 30 appearances for Boro as the team has risen into the play off positions but he  is unlikely to be involved should the club make it into the Premier League.

ClaretandHugh has been told by sources inside the club by e mail that current indications are that he will be returning to the London Stadium next season.

Meanwhile we have also learned from the same source that a fee of £8 million has been attached to Edmilson Fernandes should Fiorentina decide to keep the midfielder at the end of the season.

The Swiss international has scored twice in the last three of his 23 games for the club and the Serie A outfit have a firm commitment from the Hammers they can sign him at that price.
