Hammers Pastore hopes hit mega problem
The brilliant Argentine midfielder has been the subject of interest from the Irons but his incredible wages look likely to scupper any deal before it has a chance to get off the ground.
The 28 year old is currently on a deal worth between £190k – £200k a week gross with PSG which is way out of the Hammers reach.
And Although PSG are understood to be ready to let him go relatively cheaply to around £20 million because they need to stay in line with Uefa Financial Fair Play regulations there seems little chance of the deal getting of the grouns
The initial report came from Sky Sports News who claimed the club were discussing a fee of around £17.5 m although later reports put the figure at £20 million.
However there was no mention of the wage demands which look set to become a deal breaker with the player earning a fortune in France.
