Hammers play role in big sacking

West Ham have played a key role in the sacking of Thomas Tuchel!

Chelsea confirmed that they had fired the German this morning.

They have struggled for form this season and the Irons should really have taken a point off the Blues at the weekend in Tuchel’s final Premier League game.

The Hammers scored a last-minute equaliser but saw it ruled out by VAR for absolutely no reason, after Jarrod Bowen was adjudged to have fouled Edouard Mendy before Maxwel Cornet scored.

That robbery was not able to keep Tuchel in the job, and he has now been axed after the club lost to Dinamo Zagreb in their opening Champions League group game of the campaign.

It remains to be seen who they will look to appoint next, but they have been linked with the likes of Graham Potter, Mauricio Pochettino, and Zinedine Zidane in recent hours.

No mention of David Moyes yet…
