Hammers ready to let four go

West Ham will bid to offload their not so fab four to boost Manuel Pellegrini’s summer transfer kitty.

The club are ready to wave goodbye to Sam Byram, Edimilson Fernandes, Jordan Hugill and Andy Carroll as they try to ensure the boss has around £1oo million to spend this summer.

Injury-prone Byram and Carroll could collect up to £15 million whilst the Hammers are confident they can recoup £10 million on Hugill from an ambitious Championship club and value Fernandes at around the same.

They also believe that in the new manager they have a man with tremendous contacts who can unearth players from around Europe at sensible prices.

Carroll is entering the last year of his Hammers contract and whether he will be ready to move on and suffer a pay cut is a vexed question.

But with Arnautovic and Chicharito likely to become Pellegrini’s preferred striking partnership he may choose to move on if the opportunity presents itself.
