West Ham were plunged deeper into relegation trouble at lunchtime as Bournemouth leapt off the bottom of the table with a shock win (perhaps) over Liverpool,

It means the Irons are just one point above Leeds and Everton and two above Saints,

We can only hope and pray that things don’t get worse before the end of the day with Leeds at home to Brighton and Hove Albion and Everton at Goodison Park meeting Brentford.

Liverpool – having beaten Man United 7-0 – were put in their place by a 28th minute goal from Philip Billing which will have come as a terrible moment for us Hammers fans who saw them take our 16th spot,

However, should we manage to beat Villa at the London Stadium tomorrow (Sun) we could move into 14th place dependent on Nottingham Forest’s result later at Spurs and Leicester’s who entertain Chelsea this afternoon.

These remain very worrying days.
