Hammers slammed as “shambolic”

Sky pundit Jamie Redknapp savaged the West Ham performance against Southampton saying: “That was utterly shambolic and it could and perhaps should have been six.”

And he added “It’s all well and good talking about confidence and the new stadium but the fact is the players aren’t doing their jobs.

“I knew this would be a difficult game for them but that was dreadful – shambolic. West Ham were absolutely all over the place. It was totally awful.”

His fellow pundit Thierry Henry was equally outspoken sayng: “It was awful and you can’t blame a stadium for players making those sort of mistakes. It was difficult when Arsenal went to the Emirates but this was awful.

“It is not the West Ham United I know.”
