Sevilla manager Julian Lopetegui has said that he will block any potential move away for star striker Youssef En-Nesyri, even if a club meets his £35m price-tag. The Moroccan striker has also expressed he would like to stay with the La Liga club. The update was run in Spanish paper Marca who has good connections with Sevilla.

Yesterday it was claimed that West Ham was preparing a second offer worth around £32m for Youssef En-Nesyri after failing with their opening bid.

The Hammers failed with an initial bid of £22.5m rising to £27m with add-ons for the Morocco striker last weekend.

The Daily Star claimed the Hammers are willing to go back in with an improved offer of £25m rising to around £32m if the player hits certain performance targets with West Ham claims the tabloid.  En-Nesyri, who scored against Alaves week has bagged 13 goals in 26 games this season.

En-Nesyri joined Sevilla for £18m from fellow La Liga side Leganes only 12 months ago and he has scored 19 goals in 52 appearances.

He signed a five-and-a-half-year deal back then but that has not put the Hammers off in their pursuit of the Morocco international.

The 23-year-old came through the youth ranks at Malaga before leaving for Leganes in the summer of 2018.
