‘Hammers target’ admits “complicated situation”

Reported Hammers target Gabriel Barbosa has revealed that his present situation is “very complicated” as speculation continues that ourselves, Everton and Crystal Palace may make a January move.

Talking to Globo Esporte he admitted that he could be in his last days as an Inter Milan player whilst involved in his second loan spell with Santos.

The  22 year old was thought to be a rising star during his first spell with Santos and was handed to nickname ‘Gabigol’ after finding the net 56 times in 154 games.

It earned him a move to Iner Milan but he has managed only 10 games and one goal.That led to a loan spell at Benfica before he was sent back to Santos.

He was Barbosa is set to return to Inter though, and with his future uncertain Premier League clubs are reported to be circling the player.

The forward suggested that his future is ‘very complicated’ as it ultimately rests with Inter Milan, but did suggest that he will be on the move as he is preparing to play his final games for Santos.

“Very complicated, I’ll be honest,” said Barbosa. “I’m going to enjoy these last games, because they might be the last,” he added.
