West Ham want to hold new talks with Aaron Cresswell over a new contract – his second in the space of a year.

The club are clearly concerned at rumours of approaches from Liverpool and Manchester City and want the brilliant left back tied down for a long time.

The Scouser signed an improved five-year deal last June when City were interested in a move and the Mail claims co-owner David Sullivan is poised to start negotiations on fresh terms this summer.

Slaven Bilic is a huge fan of the former Liverpool trainee describing him as ‘almost a complete player’ with no desire to leave when outside interest from Liverpool surfaced earlier in the season.

Liverpool are known to be considering a summer move for the player, who grew up supporting the Anfield club and played in their junior ranks until he was released at 14.

Sullivan is also believed to be keen to tie Michail Antonio and Darren Randolph to new deals.
