The 24-year-old is available on a free transfer this Summer and has been scouted by  Monaco, Everton and West Ham this season.

It’s understood Champions League semi-finalists Monaco are favourites to land Ghezzal, but have yet to make a move but the Hammers are said to be keen to monitor his availability.

Ghezzal was born in Lyon and has come up through the ranks with his hometown club, enjoying a particularly impressive campaign last season.

With eight goals and eight assists in Ligue 1 last season, Ghezzal impressed with Lyon, and generated interest from a host of teams around Europe. He has just two goals and four assists in all competitions this season, a huge decrease from his 2015-16 numbers, and is expected to walk away from Lyon when his contract ends this summer.
