West Ham are ready to go back in with a second 30 million euros offer for William Carvalho after Sporting Lisbon rejected their opening offer.

The Irons had opened their negotiations with a 27 million euro bid which was around £10million euros short of the midfielder’s  release clause.

Having had that turned down, the Irons have been quick to do the sums and are now set to go back in with an offer of 30 million.

They will make up the remainder in add-ons to Lisbon who are still negotiating with goodwill knowing their 25 year old star is determined to get away.

Indeed, ClaretandHugh understands he has agreed personal terms of £2.5 million a year (around £55k a week) with us and is ready to agree a five year deal.

So close is the deal that Carvalho is set to be pulled out of tomorrow’s home game against Vitoria Seubal aftetr making it clear that he wants his future settled.
