A standard way to value football clubs is by using what is known as the Multivariate Model Football Club value = (Revenue + Net Assets) * [(Net Profit + Revenue) / Revenue] * (% stadium filled) / (%wage ratio)

For West Ham this would work out at £600m £252.7m + £56.4m (309.1) x £12.3m+£252.7m (265) = (81,911.5) /252.7m (324.15) * 99.99% (324.1) / 54% = £600m

In comparison other valuations of the Hammers

Daniel Kretinsky share buy-in valuation is £555m based on the £168.5m he paid for 27 per cent of the West Ham shares

Football Bench Mark values West Ham at £485m

Sportico values West Ham at £535m

SQAF valuation of West Ham £831m

Forbes Valuation of West Ham £850m

At the end of the day a club is only worth as much as someone is prepared to pay for it.

Personally I believe the Hammers estimated range is a valuation of West Ham £800m to £1billion to the right buyer at the right time which is not going to be for a while yet.
