Hammers wait, watch and hope

We have to rely on other results to see if we stay outside the bottom three this weekend due  due to the postponement of the City game.

But for once results went our way on Wednesday as both Crystal Palace and Southampton lost , which not only kept us above the dotted line but due to all the congestion down there ,we are now only one win off 12^th place!

Then yesterday saw Nottingham Forest lose 2-1 to Newcastle, albeit to a late penalty, but hey, who`s complaining?

This means we are just two points from leapfrogging them thanks to a vastly superior goal difference.

And we could actually move up a place this weekend if Brentford beat Leicester by two goals due to our better goal difference.

Saturday

• Bournemouth to lose away at Villa
• Leicester to lose or draw away at Brentford
• Southampton to lose or draw at home to Spurs
• Wolves and Leeds to draw or Wolves to win
• Everton to lose away to Chelsea

Sunday

• Palace to lose away to Arsenal
