Napoli are again being reported as being ready to to bid for Pedro Obiang in the summer transfer window.

A report in www.calciomercato.it claims that the Serie A team hope to lure the 24-year-old away from the Premier League with the promise of regular first team football.

And this morning (Sat) ClaretandHugh was told by insiders at West Ham that that the club would be ready to listen to sensible offers.

Obiang has become frustrated with his lack of first-team starts for the Hammers and Napoli have been monitoring his situation for weeks.

The report claims they would test the Hammers with a £7m bid. Although the Spanish midfielder recorded 24 appearances in a claret and blue shirt this season, thirteen of these were as a substitute and his 1,079 minutes on the pitch is equivalent to just 12 games. Obiang scored no goals and made one assist.

Obiang was Slaven Bilic’s first signing in June 2015 paying Sampdoria for £4.5 million in return for a five-year contract.
