Everton will not attempt to make David Moyes their new manager unless they are given permission to speak with him by the Irons.

And that is not going to happen given the club has now shaken hands on a new three year deal with the 58 year old Scotsman.

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo has already held talks for the job as the Toffees step up their bid to replace Carlo Ancelotti.

And although they would  like to  talk with Moyes following his earlier 11 year spell with the Toffees permission will not be given  by the Hammers.

Goodison  chief shareholder Farhad Moshiri made it clear there would be no attempt to talk with Moyes unless  the Hammers allow it.

According to the Mail  Goodison Park officials held a virtual board meeting on Wednesday to whittle down candidates.

However,  the Irons have no intention of letting the manager speak with Everton and a prime source made it clear to CandH that they fully expect Moyes to remain at the London Stadium

We were told: “He’s an honorable man, everything has been agreed between us and no permission would be given to Everton to speak with hum.”
