The redevelopment of  the Boleyn ground will be discussed at a public meeting by those affected.

The meeting, organised by Transform Newham, Community Links and Newham Citizen Advice Bureau will allow those affected by the redevelopment to have their say and raise any concerns they may have.  The public meeting will take place Latimer Hall, Cleves Road on Wednesday, September 10th, from 5.30pm to 7pm.

In July a planning application was submitted to Newham council on behalf of  Galliard Homes for the redevelopment of the Boleyn Ground.  The proposal is for the demolition of the existing buildings on site and the development of a residential-led mixed used scheme compromising of up to 950 residential units in a number of buildings ranging in height from 3-16 storeys. Also proposed is  950sqm of non-residential floor space  which predominantly comprises of small-scale commercial and community uses and public and private open spaces and landscaping.
