Here we go again… it’s ‘stick together’ time

If Monday mornings aren’t enough to cope with on their own Ryan Fredericks has made sure, via the official site, that we have another bellyful to handle.

It really doesn’t seem to matter how much you beg, the “we must stick together” interviews keep pouring out of the London Stadium media department.

It’s their job of course to put as positive a spin on things as possible but at this time even the word possible isn’t suitable given the circumstances. We’re not mugs!

The squad – with notable exception of Snoddy –  gave us the creeps on Saturday whilst the manager has provided no explanations which help at all.

As a result you might just hope that somebody will pop up with something seriously important to say about things – perhaps the honest Issa Diop or the experienced and straightforward Zaba.

Instead we get the same line from Fredericks as Cresswell gave us post-Newcastle: “We must stick together.”

We won’t bother you with all of it but here’s the usual guff from https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2019/november/11-november/ryan-fredericks-were-not-doing-enough-fans-we-need-stick

“We need to stick together,” the No24 implored. (Implored?)

“We’re not giving the fans much to sing about and be happy about at the moment, but they’re a loyal bunch of fans, we know that.

“We get 60,000 turn up every week and credit to them. We’re not doing enough for them, but this is when we really need to stick together.

“This is a tough little spell but last season we did well against the better teams and we’re going to do everything we can to get three points against Spurs.”

“It’s very tight and we’re only four points off seventh, or something like that. We’re an experienced bunch of lads, so we’re not going to get too down, and we just need to buck our ideas up and get going again.”

Feeling better?

Nope!
