West Ham are continuing their hunt for a minimum of two strikers whilst being ready to listen to all realistic offers for Andy Caroll and Diafra Sakho.

The Hammers have learned that Javier Hernandez is in no rush to decide his future but continue in talks with the Bayer Leverkusen striker’s agents.

The Irons board is read to push the boat out to over £100k a week to meet the former Manchester United striker’s wage demands and whilst there are no others in the field officially the 29 year old will wait until deciding his future.

With the scarcity of world class strikers he knows he is in a strong position despite him managing just 11 Bundesliga goals last season after hitting the net 17 times in his first campaign.

Meanwhile the Irons would be ready to offload both Carroll and Sakho but there are no offers or inquiries given the pair’s shocking injury records.
