Hideous FA fines a disgrace

If West Ham’s fine against the FA’s charge of failing to control their players in the 44th minute of the match against Chelsea fails it will be the biggest crime yet from the bunch of farts who run that antiquated organisation.

That the charge has been brought at all shows an entire lack of understanding of the game they are supposedly (and I use that word very carefully) running.

If anyone of these throwbacks to another age had played the game at any decent level they would understand the passion of players.

The lads were watching their most dangerous raider breaking away in a hugely important game before being hauled down in disgraceful fashion.

Err, what are they gonna do, turn away and say: “Leave it to the ref – we trust him.”

That they showed their feelings is entirely understandable – what isn’t that the FA has a rule saying no more than a couple of players can approach the ref.

It shows a total lack of understanding as to how the players they represent actually think and feel in the heat of battle.

And how can the club be held culpable is totally beyond me unless the FA want them to introduce anger and passion management courses.

The fines handed out for minimal crimes is quite shocking and ClaretandHugh is told that should we fail to get it overturned, the penalty is likely to be around £75k – and FOR WHAT?!

There’s not a word strong enough to express my feelings towards this secretive and shockingly arrogant organisation who seem to collect hideous amounts of cash from club to maintain their own entirely ineffective operation.
