Bobby Zamora has high hopes that Seb Haller is the guy to fire in the goals which will take West Ham into Europe.

The 38 year old Hammers cult hero has been discussing the French striker on the official site and is clearly deeply impressed with the club’s record signing.

The 25 year old looks certain to be involved against Hertha Berlin in tonight’s friendly which the club has high hopes of being streamed should circumstances permit.

And after Haller’s run out at Fulham – which of course few had a sight of – there will be massive interest from Hammers fans in watching both him and the other new arrival Pablo Fornals.

The striker has already revealed in his first interview since joining that he has settled well into the club and is keen to show his best after arriving at the club for a record fee of €45 million which could rise to nearer €50m with add ons  .

As quoted by West Ham’s official website, Zamora said of the French forward: “He’s a a big, strong boy, and he’s certainly going to have to use his physical presence in the Premier League…

I’m sure it’ll take him a couple of games to find his feet, but he’s got a good record and hopefully he can score those goals and get the Hammers up into the European places.”
