Young Nathan Holland found himself included in the match day squad for Old Trafford sparking hopes that he could get his first taste of Premier League action before the end of the season.

A debate on the pros and cons of blooding youngsters with nothing left at stake this term has been running for a while but the reality is that manager Pellegrini is still fixed on gaining the highest possible place.

And according to our sources he is unlikely to plunge Holland into action at a time when he needs to be aiming for as much positional cash bonus as possible.

Having seen Grady Diangana handed his chance many are of the belief that 20 year old Holland could make his breakthrough.

The youngster can play left and right and certainly has the ability to go past players but although he is set for another possible squad inclusion his chances are getting on the pitch are low.

We were told by a senior insider: “The academy staff have done a magnificent job over the last couple of years and we have all seen the results.

“A lot of us have been waiting a long time to see young Nathan but he is seen very much as one for the future although it’s important he experiences life with the squad on match days as his chance comes closer.”
