Nathan Holland may get the biggest opportunity of his West Ham life at Molineux tonight having been named as part of the squad for the game against Wolves.

After weeks and months of hearing the fans lobbying for him to be included in the saquad,  Manuel Pellegrini has finally included him i for a game which carried huge importance.

Felipe Anderson has been less than average over recent weeks and it looks very much as though the manager wants a like for like player on the bench should the Brazilian fail to fire.

Holland has been in stunning form for the under 23 side all season and may even – though it has to be doubtful – may get the starting berth.

Either way it’s exciting to see him at last involved after having to sweat it out since the team were beaten 4-0 in the debacle of a Carabao Cup match against Oxford United.

After ExWHUemployee tweeted the news it was confirmed by a club insider to us early this afternoon.

We understand that once again Jack Wilshere is not in the squad and the match comes too soon for recovering central defender Winston Reid.
