CandH’s ratings man Niall McDonald is back on the Irons case with his latest marks

Masuaku was bang on the money from the moment he appeared

Randolph : Either the first was perfectly placed or he should have got to it. No chance with the others and a great one-on-on save late on 5
Byram: Low on confidence and with 40% of the crowd in his back I thought Byram was very good, not helped by others (see Snodgrass) 6
Fonte: Summed us up. All-positivity, forward-looking, focus and commitment after we got the second. Leicester played that way from the start 4
Reid (c): Injured very early on while making a last-ditch interception 4
Cresswell: Pushed well back by Mahrez in the first half. Subbed with 15 mins to go 5
Obiang: Must have wished Noble was alongside him when Kouyate was moved to centre-half! First time he’s looked overrun and left the field on a stretcher. He will be missed I fear 4
Kouyate: Barely touched the ball in midfield before dropping alongside Fonte, where he had a decent game 5
Antonio: Statisticians – when did Antonio last play an entire game wide-right? Spent too long in the middle getting the ball stuck under his feet 5
Lanzini: His Neymar-esque free kick got us a fingertip hold on the game. Tried his heart out before his touch finally deserted him in the very final stages 6
Ayew: If he’s a penalty area finisher, then we should try and get him in there a bit more often? One massive miss and jury still out 5
Carroll: Deft knockdown for Ayew. Denied by Schmeichel late on. Special mention for a tremendous flying foul on Benalouane 5
Subs: Snodgrass: A surprisingly positive replacement for Reid. Continually took the easy option and played Byram into dead ends 3
Fernandes: Game was wide open when he entered the fray with his usual energy 5
Masuaku: Was on the money straight away and kept the late momentum going 6
