Fabianski: Looked a little uncertain in the first half but with just once Burnley chance on target a relatively comfortable afternoon 6
Coufal: Ok, but his crossing into box and finding men down the right not as effective as usual 6
Diop: Not the toughest afternoon he will face with Burnley not so clever in the final third 6
Dawson: Ditto above but fortunate with one block late in second half 6
Rice : Truly magnificent second half after the first showed him making one tackle, losing possession three times and achieving just a 75 per cent passing accuracy. But the second 45 saw him at his very best and looked our most likely goal scorer with those searing runs 8
Soucek: Missed a very good late chance and had little effect throughout 5
Bowen: As industrious as ever and always busy but in a scrappy match couldn’t create real chances 7
Lanzini: Quietly ok in midfield but blasted one well over the top and couldn’t find a real creative spark 6
Benrahma: A nothing first half before a couple of sparkling moments in the second with one great run and a header which tested Pope. That was it before being subbed 5
Antonio: His touch seems to have deserted him over recent games – saw his share of the ball but made little happen 5

Vlasic: Looked lively again and his accuracy in passing and control is becoming more impressive 6
Fornals: Brought on to improve set piece delivery and he did. Looked decent in his time on the pitch 6
