How we rated the Irons v Sunderland

Sadly, once again the duty of offering ratings for yet another miserable performance falls to me. Here they are! Cue the abuse!

Randolph: If there has been a worse goalkeeping display in the Premier League this season don’t remind me. One decent effort saved so  1

Byram: Boy doing a man’s job and sent off  for two poor fouls 3

Collins: When a 34 year old is regular man of match there’s a problem, did well at back and scored what should have been winner. Feel for him cos he really DOES care 7

Fonte: Better but the odd bizarre moment.Having said that didn’t have to face much to threaten him 5

Masuaku: He now looks the natural left back – decent performance again 6

Snodgrass: Assist for Collins goal and that was more or less it 4

Kouyate: Perfect game for him to boss midfield and failed to do so 4

Fernandes, Game appeared to pass him by – give him time I guess 4

Lanzini: Once again at the heart of the best stuff. Fish out of water in this team at the moment 7

Carroll: Worked really hard – set up Ayew for first and forever trying to get on the end of stuff. 6

Ayew: Scored one – missed another. At the heart of stuff early but faded 5
