Ibe images in West Ham top discredited

West Ham Chairman’s son Jack Sullivan has discredited rumours about Liverpool winger joining West Ham saying on twitter “The ibe rumours are not true! We are not signing him.”

Ibe became a surprise bookies 5/2 favourite over the weekend with bookmakers Paddy Power after images of Ibe circulated around the Internet of him in a West Ham top. It now appears these images are most likely fake.

The 20-year-old  was left out of  the Liverpool squad towards the end of the season, which led him to subsequently removed all references to the club from his Twitter profile. His account on the social network has otherwise been dormant for just under a year. Ibe’s career has stuttered under Jurgen Klopp with the talented winger completing just four Premier League fixtures since his arrival in October 2015.

He came up through the Charlton Athletic and Wycombe Wanderers youth setups until he signed a pre-contract with Liverpool in 2011.
