The club’s insider is back on WHUFC.com to give us hints and teases about the transfer dealings.

The insider tells “I have been told that a top international player will be undergoing a medical with the Club and they hope to conclude a deal within the next 72 hours.”

This is widely known to be Valencia winger, Sofiane Feghouli, we understand he will join us on a three year contract as a free agent subject to him passing his medical today.

The insider continues “There has been a lot of speculation linking the Hammers with moves for Besiktas duo Gokhan Tore and Atiba Hutchinson. My sources have told me that negotiations have taken place and although the club remain hopeful, there is still some way to go before a deal can be agreed.”

To be fair Slaven Bilic confirmed this himself in the last 24 hours so shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise.

The insider finishes with “Reports in the media have also linked Angelo Ogbonna with a move back to Serie A as Roma lead the chase to sign him.Ogbonna has been rewarded for his impressive form at West Ham with a call-up to the Italy squad for the Euro Finals in France.I have been told categorically that the talented defender is not for sale and will not be going anywhere. He remains a major part of the squad for next season.”

Again the insider is a little behind the curve, ClaretadHugh revealed three days ago that Ogbonna was not for sale at any price. A source told us : “Slaven rates him as highly defensively as he does Dimi offensively. There’s no chance of Angelo going anywhere.”
