100 per cent Snoddy

Thirty two year old Robert Snodgrass’ West Ham contract runs out at the end of next season although as is generally  the case at the club he has an option for a further year attached to his deal.

Snoddy has been one of our top three or four performers over the past season and is currently on five goals and a number of assists.

His set pieces and high energy performances have been something to seriously behold at times and he looks a player to keep on board.

The club will be looking for younger legs in the summer transfer market but our insiders have indicated by e mail that the high energy Scot is set to receive an option triggering offer.

With the likes of Pablo Fornals and Tomas Soucek  on board – should we remain in the Premier League of course – Snoddy will be facing intense competition.

But he certainly appears to have the fitness levels to be involved in the squad for a couple of years yet.
