West Ham now need the help of Manchester United to keep their European dreams alive. The Hammers finished in seventh place in the Premier League after the disappointing 2-1 loss against Stoke City  this afternoon and they must now anxiously wait on the result of the FA Cup in six days time to decide whether they qualify for Europe.

If Manchester United win the FA Cup, West Ham will go into the 3rd qualifying round of the Europa League, it is as simple as that.

Manchester United and Southampton will both qualify for the Europa league after finishing fifth and sixth places in the league but a final rescheduled match between Manchester United and Bournemouth will decide who finishes fifth after a bomb scare postponed the Red Devils last game at Old Trafford.

Manchester United will  Crystal Palace in the FA Cup final on Saturday 21st May with a 5.30pm kick-off at Wembley. It appears we may all need to reluctantly support the Red Devils next Saturday to ensure European qualification.

Slaven Bilic in post match interview said “I expect Manchester United to win the FA Cup. It’s going to be hard but they go into the final as favourites. I’ll be a fan for 90 minutes.”
