West Ham – led by David Moyes – are turning up the heat on unvaccinated players and could back any proposal which comes forward at tomorrow’s Premier League meeting to introduce wage cuts should they continue to refuse the jab.

The manager has admitted there are several squad members who have not had the first and is now reported by our insiders to be becoming increasingly insistent that they do so.

We were also told that the idea of transfer window signings would be restricted to those who have accepted the situation and that anti vax individuals would not be entertained.

The club are desperate for games to continue and are unlikely to vote for a two week circuit breaker on games if it is proposed.

With broadcasting rights at stake they would prefer to return to behind closed doors games despite there being a loss of around £2.5 million on each of them.

The feeling is that clubs have the experience of operating such games and that is preferable to a circuit breaker which has the potential to be extended.
