West Ham are increasingly confident that they are set to sign Sebastien Haller after upping their bid to €45 million plus add ons.

Frankfurt Eintracht are driving the hardest of bargains for the 25 year old – currently rated as one of the top strikers in Europe.

ClaretandHugh understands they are insisting the entire fee is paid within 18 months rather than over the usual three to four year terms agreed between most clubs on major transfers.

Initially, the Bundesliga outfit wanted 75 per cent of the fee inside the next six months but have relented slightly during talks over the last 24 hours.

The player is keen to put pen to paper and the Irons are hopeful a conclusion to the deal could now be imminent.

Frankfurt are keen to see another club become involved in order to push up the price but as things stand the deal is moving closer to the Hammers.
