Iron’s ‘wake up call’ welcomed at the club
Controversial Sak has some proving to do after his recent behaviour ahead of a failed move to West Brom and Gold has made it clear the player is working very hard.
Updating his fitness position to Twitter he said: “Diafra Sakho is training hard to regain the right level of fitness so he can rejoin the main squad. dg.”
We understand too that Sak is showing a very big change of attitude and is determined to put his reputation for hissy fits behind him.
A source clse to the training ground said: “We are seeing a changed character. He really seems to understand that he needs to be a lot more relational.
“It’s good to see. The failed medical was a blow to him at the time as it would be for any professional but it appears to have acted very much as a wake up call and it’s good to see.”
