West Ham have no intention of selling Pedro Obiang to Everton or any other club this summer.

The Irons midfielder would have been a leading contender for the Hammer of the Year award but for an ankle injury sustained against Leicester in March.

Some reports claim The Toffees are interested in the player along with AC Milan and Sevilla but the player is keen to stay at the London Stadium and the club have no intention of entertaining bids.

Apparent interest from Liverpool was shrugged off in January when Jurgen Klopp’s scouts  was believed to have been tracking the player.

And Hammers co chairman David Gold has spoken openly in Twitter of his huge regard for a player who was a shining light as the team stuttered in the 2016/17 campaign.

And ClaretandHugh has been told that there “is absolutely no interest in listening to offers or enquiries” for the 25 year old who is contracted to the club until 2019.

Obiang himself has also made it clear he was disinterested in a move away when speculation emerged last season saying: “There was interest but West Ham didn’t want to sell me and I don’t want to leave.”
