Jenkinson pulls out of England u-21s

Carl Jenkinson has has been forced to pull out of the England Under-21s squad to face Croatia this week following assessment on a hamstring injury.

The West Ham United loanee Arsenal featured for the Hammers in their win over QPR on Sunday but has been unable to train since joining the England squad and is now officially unavailable.

Head coach said:”Jenks has had to go home, as he hasn’t trained with us all week after feeling his hamstring after the game on Sunday.

“We haven’t made sufficient progress with that, so to be fair to him and the club it’s better that he goes back and they will be able to pick it up.”
