Jokanovic makes his Irons position clear

Fulham boss Slavisa Jokanovic has shrugged off false reports that he is fancied for Slaven Bilic’s job despite Sky Sports claiming otherwise in a report yesterday.

The story was immediately denied by the hammers to ClaretandHugh and now the Serbian Craven Cottage boss has made it clear he has no interest in it anyway.

Quite apart from the fact that Bilic looks as safe as houses the media reports continue that replacements are being lined up. They aren’t!

The Hammers can more or less guarantee their safety with a win at Sunderland this weekend but in any event it looks a certainty that Bilic will be going nowhere in the summer anyway.

And Jokanovic has no intention of doing a Jaap Stam by claiming he is flattered to be linked with such a position – instead ruling out the possibility entirely.

He declared: ““I’ve extended my contract. I am absolutely committed, always. I am happy with my club.

“I want to be a Premier League manager with Fulham Football Club.”
