JP Morgan man appointed to West Ham board

West Ham shareholder Daniel Kretinskey has appointed a senior executive of JP Morgan to the West Ham board of directors.

An announcement on Companies House today revealed that Jiri Svarc has been appointed to parent group WH Holding with Kretinsky’s right-hand man Pavel Horkey stepping down to join the operations board.

There is a change on the West Ham United Football Limited football board with Pavel Horkey appointed and Marek Spurny stepping down.

Jiri Svarc is a Managing Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co one of the world’s largest financial institutions in the world.

The bank is the largest investment bank in the US and manages assets worth nearly four trillion US dollars worldwide.

Czech-born Svarc lives and works in London and has worked for JP Morgan for over 23 years.

He has worked with Daniel Kretinsky in the past on company acquisitions for his EPH energy company based in the Czech Republic.
