Kral deal is done say Spartak Moscow
Taylor confirmed West Ham are signing Czech midfielder Alex Kral on loan with an obligation to buy. Spartak chief Evgeny Melezhikovhas declared the final paperwork is now being completed.
He said: “Kral is leaving. We had different options for him (Atalanta). We’ve agreed on all terms with West Ham.”
The deal is reported to be costing West Ham a £3m loan fee with the obligation to buy on a further four-year contract with current wages of around £24,000 per week in Russia but will probably look to double that in the Premier League.
Kral was/is Tomas Soucek’s central midfield partner at Slavia Prague and forms the same partnership for the Czech national team.
Spartak paid €12m for Kral so will look to make a profit on any option. The reported obligation to buy is £12m with potential add-ons taking it to £17m.
We now await the official confirmation from West Ham.
