Kral speaks out on his West Ham disaster

Alex Kral has spoken for the first time about his West Ham experience after being frozen out of the first team reckoning last season while on loan.

Kral only managed  255 minutes of action in the campaign and only 60 seconds of those came in the Premier League whilst a total of  21 West Ham players played more minutes than him (Transfermarkt).

It was all incredibly difficult to understand and – remaining entirely professional in his comments – the player refuses to blame anyone for the scenario,

However, it remains difficult to understand just how underused he should have been in a season when Tomas Soucek was clearly below his best and Mark Noble being chosen ahead of him on various occasions.

The former Slavia Prague man has joined German side Schalke since leaving the Hammers.

However, he remains at a loss to explain being snubbed so almost completely saying: “I didn’t get a clear answer from the coach (over my lack of opportunities at West Ham),” he told WAZ.

“Mentally, the time in London was difficult because I didn’t get a chance to show myself.

“Despite this, I always behaved professionally and never caused a bad mood.

“Only in the car after training could I let my emotions out.”
