Daniel Kretinksy has a current net worth of £7.54 billion, according to Forbes real-time tracker.

And that’s a rise of  £3bn more than the £4.52 billion published in the US Forbes 2022 rich list.

He was reported to be worth £3.43 billion at the time of his investment into West Ham based on the previous Forbes 2021 rich list figure, meaning he has accumulated over £4 billion since his investment in the club.

The Czech billionaire’s rise in net wealth has been phenomenal, coming from a £1.6 billion net worth in 2017 to £2.85bn in 2020, according to Forbes.

Kretinsky has a long history of minority share ownership, including Sparta Prague, which he owns 49%, and minority shareholdings in Royal Mail, Sainsbury’s, Macy’s, Footlocker, Le Monde and German retail giant Metro AG to name but a few of his large portfolio.

The Czech  paid £168.75m for his 27% shareholdings in West Ham and earlier this month, the West Ham shareholder won a government auction to earmark £1.5bn of subsidy for his power station in Yorkshire.
