Speaking in an interview with Canal+,  former West Ham striker target Alexandre Lacazette confirmed that he will be seeking to leave Lyon in the summer.

“I think that the right moment has arrived to leave. I think that this summer I will need a change of scenery and discover something else, still with the idea of advancing and progressing in terms of football and as a person. I will continue to work, in the hope that good opportunities will come this summer. Barcelona to join Umtiti? It is a very big club. They have extraterrestrials upfront. It would be a dream… If that happens, great, but I am not here to say that I will take a place from Luis Suarez. But I would like to play for them one day.”

Lyon President Jean Michel Aulas has confirmed that he has rejected multiple offers for Alexandre Lacazette last summer, the largest being a €40m (£31m) bid from West Ham he alleged.

The striker has scored 18 goals from 17 league starts this season in Ligue 1. He has scored an additional 3 goals in cup competitions taking his record to 21 goals from 25 apperances in all competitions.
