ClaretandHugh revealed over a week again that there is indeed a deal agreed with his parent club Al Jazira and David Gold confirmed to us again this evening that the decision will be made at the end of the season.
He explained to us: “There is no reason for any anxiety. As is always the case, we will make our decision just before or at the end of the season. All the details have been arranged.”
ClaretandHugh has learned that the fee is believed to be in the region of £5-£6 million.

Gold had revealed earlier on the offiial website: “We have an option on him at the end of the season and you need to see him over the whole year and see someone perform at this level on a consistent basis.
But if he keeps putting in the displays that we are seeing at the moment, then the manager will keep picking him.”
