BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson had his Wikipedia web page hacked today, presumably by a disgruntled West Ham fan trying to have a bit of fun.

Posted under the media section of his career the joker has suggested he has a personal vendetta against West Ham. The made up passage added to his biography can be found below:

“Lawrenson has a personal vendetta against West Ham, predicting they’ll lose every game ever, be relegated and liquidate before the end of 2016. He also blames The Hammers for the Ebola crisis, child abuse in the Catholic Church, Jon Snow dying at the end of Season 5 in Game Of Thrones and the Zika Virus epidemic sweeping Africa and South America.”

“Lawrenson has personally tried to assassinate David Gold, only failing when he cocked up the recipe to his homemade bomb, much like his footballing predictions. The small explosion alerted the Metropolitan police to his Shoreditch crack den, where he was arrested. Lawrenson lost a testicle in the incident.”
