Leroy predicts Irons win – here’s why

I reckon Andy Carroll can lead the Hammers to victory this afternoon at Leicester and that’s not based on hope and optimism.

City’s defence with big central defenders Robert Huth and Wes Morgan at its heart sits deep and invites crosses and excellent into the box and that plays to AC’s aerial strength.

If he is bang on his game and we get the right quality of cross into him then I can see us marching out of the east midlands with a win under our belts.

The Irons are going to have to find some energy from somewhere because they really did look pretty jaded against Manchester United and there can be no room for that today.

And I seriously hope that Winston Reid returns to the centre of defence because his pace is going to be very important against Vardy.

Slav will have to freshen things up notably in the Enner Valencia area who was bang off the pace in the FA Cup replay but I believe that with the right sort of service going into the box we can win this game.

We have have had a great season and that would be a magnificent way of showing the world there will be no fading and dying after the United setback.

To be honest I believe these are two very evenly matched sides and had City not had the season they have enjoyed I reckon everybody would be talking about West Ham.

So come on you Irons, another huge away match and given our great away record on these occasions lets have another big one.

I’m going for a 1-2 away win.
