Leroy: We can do to Hornets what City did to us

It’s time for the Irons to win with style and panache!

They came out on top playing ugly against Bournemouth and were pretty poor in the first half at Manchester City when they tried to play five at the back, handed the advantage to the home team and were quite fairly beaten.

Yes, they picked it up a bit in the second half but you would have to be pretty one-eyed to believe they deserved anything from the game although there were some promising signs.

We could see something similar but in reverse tomorrow (Sat) when Watford arrive at the London Stadium. I expect the visitorsto play five at the back and hopefully we wil handle the Hornets in the same way as City did us.

Dimi Payet is back and his very presence in the team will raise the confidence of everybody around him. Yes, his creative play and ability to break down defences down is important but his very presence in the team is of ultimate importance. He’s our talisman and there will be a spring in our step as the lads take to the pitch as a result.

Watford do not look a great team to me and I reckon they are in for a very long struggle this season so we must really cash in.

Payet, Lanzini and Zaza looks a pretty formidable trio doesn’t it and I reckon a decent win is on the cards. I’ll go for 2-0 although I wouldn’t be surprised if it was more.

O The standing ssue is now becoming a bit of a farce and it’s time for things to be settled down so if you are among those who continue to stay on your feet please don’t do it anymore.

We are a big club now and we can be bigger so let’s respect each other and the CLUB in particular. If you want to be part of this amazing revolution we have seen at our great club let’s be sensible and grow up with the club.

We have a tremendous future if everybody allows it and does the right thing – so come on, let’s become the biggest club in London without all this stuff going on. It’s just daft.
