The skip says we can play with more freedom now …let’s see it

David Moyes and the Hammers still owe us!

Amid all the relief of survival let’s not forget this has been as bad a season as most of us can remember at all sorts of levels.

Now free of all worries, we meet Manchester United and Everton at home and given the level of performance we have seen whilst anxiously clawing out points it’s time for a payback with two displays to take the bitter edge of this awful season.

Mark Noble has made it clear in a post match interview that once free of such anxieties the team can play with far more freedom and that’s what we will be expecting … and what our amazing fans deserve.

All season there have been these declarations from the club’s media department  about sticking with the team – AS IF WE WOULDN’T. Now it’s the squad’s turn to give us 180 minutes of pure football.

There are some players who won’t and  shouldn’t be here next season but we’ll come to that later.

We need to beat United – a team which traditionally we have never liked – and as for Everton with old Allardyce in charge , they just have to be beaten.

I can think of no worse way of ending the campaign than by being beaten by him of all people.

So come on you Irons – let’s go out on a high! Like I said…you still owe us.
